Tony’s 25-year career has taken him from the halls of the U.S. Congress to Arizona local city government.  He has worked on public policy and strategy and media relations for large multi-national corporations and small businesses alike.  He began his agency in 2007 and clients include Lewis and Roca, Arizona Science Center, Ticoz, Babaloos Cuban Cafe, Urban Cookies and Community Tire & Automotive Specialists.  In the past, Tony generated substantial national coverage for GoDaddy.com and its sponsorship of Danica Patrick. He also promotes celebrity golfer Lee Brandon (landing a cover for ESPN) and MaxOnSnax, a children’s animated television program.  At the City of Mesa, he headed up the communications efforts for some of the largest and often the most controversial public projects.  He proposed and implemented public policy working directly with the City Council and City management.  In Los Angeles, he managed PR for Jimmy’s in Beverly Hills, the New Otani Hotel, 1800UsedCars, and Manhattan Beach Studios.  He was the Communication Director for Robert Half/Accountemps, KPMG Peat Marwick and was a legislative analyst on Capitol Hill for the Washington, D.C. Council Office of both Chrysler Motors and Nissan USA.  Tony has won the 3CMA, Telly and Valley Forward Awards and has helped his clients win the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year and the W.P. Carey Spirit of Enterprise Awards. He sits on the GPGLCC Board, Local First Arizona Board and is Co-Chair of the HRC Federal Club Arizona Chapter.

Tony graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in management and communications.

Prior to joining our company, Tony Arranaga was an on-air reporter with ABC-15 where he helped KNXV-TV grow a morning show audience.  Popular with sources and viewers alike, Tony has a talent for finding the right stories that appeal to viewing audiences. Whether reporting on consumer alerts, breaking news or lifestyle segments, he has a talent for connecting with viewers and bringing his likable and relate-able personality to the story. Since 1995, Tony has worked in television newsrooms around the country.  He started his career on the assignment desk at the West Coast Bureau for ABC News in Los Angeles, then spent several years covering politics in both Tampa and Washington, D.C. before landing in Phoenix and joining KNXV-TV.

Tony’s new passion is mass transit and blogs about the light rail system in Phoenix and his experiment with living car-free in the desert.  He’s also developing a website on healthcare.  Tony has a degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Arizona.  Tony was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.
